What is an electronic signature?
An electronic signature (or e-signature) is a paperless method by which the signer accepts the contents of an electronic message.
There are other forms of e-signatures that people use every day and aren't aware of, such as an 'I accept' button or PIN number with a chip and pin card payment.
Why are you asking me for an electronic signature?
We are offering the facility for you to sign your Consumer Credit Agreement electronically as it's more convenient and practical than traditional paper-based methods. You won't have to go to the trouble of posting it back and it's also much more environmentally friendly to complete rather than to print and send an additional paper copy.
Is it secure?
Signing your Consumer Credit Agreement takes place over a secure connection which only you have access to.
Can the document be altered after I have given my e-signature?
Once the document is signed we protect it using a tamper-seal which ensures that it cannot be altered without us knowing about it. We will also e-mail you a copy that you can save for your own reference.
What is my password?
Your password is your customer number, if you are having problems signing in to your agreement please call 0844 844 8000*.
How do I sign?
We have already prepared a PDF of your Consumer Credit Agreement with the details we hold about you. Using our e-signature facility, you only need to do the following to sign your agreement:
- Check the details are correct.
- Click on the signature block (highlighted in yellow) and your name and a time/date stamp will appear.
- Click on I Accept. At this point your agreement is signed and now available for downloading.
From beginning to end, the entire process only takes a few minutes to complete, including the download.
How do I download my signed agreement?
To download your agreement, please follow these steps:
- Click on the download link.
- A signed copy of the agreement will open in Adobe Reader (needs to be version 8.0 or higher).
- You will have the option to print or save your agreement.
To save a copy, on the file menu, click 'Save as..' and this will enable you to store the agreement locally on your computer.
If you don't download your agreement after you have completed the signing process, you will need to contact 0844 844 8000 to obtain a copy and there may be a time-delay of up to a week for us to complete your request.

What if I don't want to sign electronically?
Although we'd encourage you to sign electronically, we understand if you prefer not to. We've already sent you a paper copy with your first statement. If you need another copy then please call 0844 844 8000* to request one.
Which browsers and operating systems are supported?
We are supported on the latest versions of all major browsers
- Windows XP and Windows 7.
You may experience issues on older/non-supported browsers or operating systems. If you are having problems and are unable to sign as a result, please contact or Customer Service team on 0800 844 8000.
Are mobile and handheld devices supported?
We are supported on the following:
- iOS 4.x (and above) - ipad and iphone.
- Android 3.x (and above) - most devices.
Whilst our system generally works on all browsers, you may experience issues on a non-supported device.
